2500 is a
fast-applying
gypsum cement
designed by USG
for use in
multi-family,
other types of
wood framed
construction,
and light
commercial
construction.
Levelrock Brand
Floor
Underlayment
2500 can be
applied at rates
up to 30 msf per
day. The
specified
compressive
strength
properties,
exceeds
requirements for
multi-family and
hotel/motel
construction. It
is formulated to
provide typical
compressive
strengths from
2500 psi to 3200
psi at a
3.4-inch minimum
thickness over
plywood
subflooring.
Product
Description
USG poured
gypsum
underlayment
products are
mixed with sand
and water at the
jobsite to yield
a lightweight,
smooth, and
monolithic
surface. A
3/4-in thick
gypsum
underlayment
weighs
approximately
7.2 pounds per
square foot and
has a density of
only 115 pounds
per cubic foot.
